Rain Saver

Natural Choices’ Rain Saver Rain Barrels were originally used for storing our “green”and “environmentally friendly” raw materials and products used in our business.  Instead of sending empty drums to a land fill to become part of the garbage pollution issue, we are now offering them to our customers at nominal cost to help promote recycling!

•  Each drum holds up to 55 gallons of rain water.

•  The rain barrels are made from thick and durable polyethylene and are built to last many years.

•  Each drum has been thoroughly cleaned and rinsed before being made into rain barrels.

•  Every time it rains your get fresh untreated chlorine free water to use in your garden, bird bath, pond or for any other outside household needs.

•  Each drum also contains an overflow port which can be used to divert excess water when the drum is filled to another barrel or for different use.

* Make sure the stand you set the barrel on is level and safe.  Cinder blocks, 4 x4 or larger wood beams of large patio blocks make good stands for the barrel.

* For attachment of your downspout to the barrel you can purchase a flexible downspout connector or downspout diverter piping from a hardware store.  Flexible hosing can also be used to channel excess water from the overflow port when the drum is full.
